Book review excerpt for A Promise Kept from Shreveport Times:

Caregiver shares experience in book, honors others with event
Bonita Bandaries was a full-time caregiver for her mother for five years.
That experience led her to write a book and a study guide to encourage other caregivers. Along the way she started an annual family-caregiver celebration.
Bandaries wrote “A Promise Kept” about topics such as worry, anxiety and love when caregiving. “I wrote comments about each and shared scriptures which were encouraging to me as a caregiver,” she said.
The book includes contributions from local residents and offers suggestions to find respite during the day.
